ME IS ME. So, who am I? Let me
introduce myself.
My
full name is Fitria Budi Ananda, and you can just call me Fitria, or whatever
you want cause in my previous school, I’ve never been called Fitria as main
call. It’s so various call, Piti, Pitek
(Javanese, that means chicken), and many unique call more. And I don’t really
like to be called Fitri. I don’t know why, I just dislike it.
I
am a girl who was born on Saturday, June 5th 1999 in Bandung. My
mother is a number one hero for me, Hastuti Martiana, who has graduated from
German Literature in Padjadjaran University (Unpad). And just like my middle
name, Budi Nugroho Sudiarto is my wonderful father who has graduated from
Electrical Engineering in Bandung Technology Institute (ITB). Both of my
parents have graduated from Bandung Universities. But in fact, they both were
not born in Bandung. Their hometown are not Bandung. They are totally Javanese People,
my mother comes from Karanganyar, Surakarta, and my father comes from Salatiga. I have an older sister, Annisa Budiastuti (co-ass medical school UNS) and two older brothers, Taufik Akbar Abdullah (STEI ITB) and Muh. Rizal Abdul Aziz (MAN Insan Cendekia Serpong).
I
have some unsolved problems. I was born and grew up in Bandung, but I can’t
speak Sundanese, even though I can understand a bit when anyone speaks
Sundanese. And I studied about 3 years in Yogyakarta which has strong culture,
but I can’t speak Javanese. It was shameful that I can’t speak both Javanese or
Sundanese in my fifteen years of life.
I
studied in Luqmanul Hakim Islamic Elementary School Bandung (graduated in
2011), Islamic Boarding School Bina Umat YK (graduated in 2014), and now I
study in 3 Senior High School Bandung. I chose to studied in Islamic school in
elementary and junior high school for many reasons. Of course, I want to deepen
my knowledge of Islam. But why I chose 3 Senior High School? Cause it was my
dream since in elementary, to enter 3 Senior High School Bandung. Because dream
is not just a dream. It was something that we really have to fight for.
But
in 3rd grade of junior high school, I have some doubts in SMAN 3
Bandung. And I changed my school direction to MAN Insan Cendekia Serpong (ICS).
I studied hard to enter it. Although national exam score (NEM) is not needed to
enter MAN ICS, as my mother said, “ Study hard for national exam as if you will
enter SMAN 3 Bandung,” And when MAN ICS selection announced and I was not
qualified, I was, of course, so disappointed. I cried along that day, but
eventually I realized, Allah knows better. No. Allah knows the best for us. As
Allah said in one of my favorite ayah that is so inspiring for me,
“
Fighting has been enjoined upon you while it is hateful to you. But
perhaps you hate a thing and it is good for you; and perhaps you love a thing
and it is bad for you. And Allah Knows, while you know not.”
So
just believe, Allah has his best plan for us. InshaAllah, SMAN 3 Bandung is the
best way for me. I’ll fight to reach my dreams. Du’a, effort, and tawakkal.
MAN JADDA WAJADA
